Access Fund

The Kamloops Climbing Access Fund aims to support activities that encourage and promote safe and sustainable rock climbing in, and around, the Kamloops, British Columbia area.

Formerly known as “the bolt fund”, these activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • climbing community communication
  • represent climbers land access concerns
  • trail maintenance
  • route building
  • route and anchor maintenance

The fund is supported and maintained entirely by volunteers and their donations.  I

Joining the group is free: all you have to do join our mailing list and anyone, regardless of where you live, is welcome to join. (We don’t distribute email addresses to anyone, and only send out email related to the fund or that are of interest to the community.)    If you join the group, you can expect an occasional, unobtrusive email about:

  • climbing community events
  • notification of guide book updates
  • fund updates

If you’d like to get involved, join the group now. If you’d like to give something back, you can make a donation at Cliffside Climbing Gym or TRU Outdoors, in Kamloops.

If you have done route work around Kamloops, you may be eligible for reimbursement of your expenses.
