Climb Kamloops is a non-comprehensive guide to climbing in the Kamloops area of the Thompson-Nicola region in British Columbia, Canada.
———— June 12 2026 – Roche Lake access notice —–
We’re heard word from a provincial Conservation Officer and there is an immediate request that climbers do not climb the routes from “Trails” through “Brass Monkey,” inclusive, until further notice. The Ministry is reviewing a sensitive access issue and there are not enough confirmed details to share publicly yet, so please avoid speculation about the reason. For now, please respect the request, do not climb the affected routes or remove any notices/tape, and help keep the conversation calm and constructive. Compliance right now gives the climbing community the best chance of protecting long-term access. Update will be posted here and on facebook as soon as they are available.
